Redline is an international law association open only to lawyers who satisfy membership eligibility criteria or who are invited to join by existing members. You may request an invitation.

If you are in the United States, you must be an attorney licensed, and a mandatory bar association member in good standing, in any state, territory, or Washington D.C. If you reside outside the United States, you must be a lawyer or equivalent legal professional (such as a counselor, barrister, advocate or solicitor) duly educated, licensed or accredited, and authorized in good standing.

As a general rule, currently practicing and experienced lawyers, and those teaching law in the legal academy, are more likely to be admitted.

Once you’re in, you may invite any lawyer you like and respect.

Redline is made possible by modest membership dues, to run the servers and pay for the developers and designers (Clarion Technology).

For new members, annual dues are $77 (discounts apply for law professors).

For existing members in good standing as of ___, Redline is free for life.

The first year's fee is waived for eligible lawyers who join us at the invitation of any such existing member. If you know any, ask them to invite you, and save $77.

Each request for an invitation is individually assessed. Please allow at least 3-5 business days to process your invitation request.

Only duly licensed and authorized lawyers currently in practice are eligible to join. Further, only those lawyers most likely to contribute quality discussions, in our judgment, will be extended an invitation to join the membership. Beyond this, members will be able to judge quality of content via mojo scores, quiver scores, bounty queries, upvotes and downvote statistics, and other metrics that we may introduce in the future. Ultimately, however, members control the membership, by inviting only those lawyers with high mojo potential.

A lawyer's redlines can tell you a great deal about that lawyer's skill, ingenuity and experience. We've created a collaboration environment that's conducive to the exchange of this unique form of knowledge.

Redline enables new knowledge management tools, carefully crafted products of human-lawyer collaboration and ingenuity: quivers and playbooks, trusted roadmaps, and tested guidance.

All readily uploadable to your authorized AI tools as benchmarks for their work.

At the same time, Redline is not available to unauthorized AI bots, only bona fide human-lawyers that have passed strict screening eligibility, and/or who are invited to join by a current member in good standing (and otherwise eligible). What's more, our terms of membership forbid feeding Redline-derived content to any AI or similar tool whose binding ToS/ToU don't clearly prohibit the AI's use of inputted content to train itself.
